| Our Puppies |
Wolf Glacier is committed to preserving the original Alaskan Malamute. For that reason we breed first for ourselves and exclusively to produce through a particular litter puppies which will contribute to the improvement of the breed. We plan only to produce a litter when we want to add an additional show or working malamute to our pack. Wolf Glacier breeds only with Alaskan Malamutes, which are superior representatives of the standard and come from exceptional lines. The Malamutes used for breeding purposes at Wolf Glacier are checked for CERF, CHD, and thyroid clearances as well as hip X-rays. All dogs and bitches for breeding are considered only after they are cleared of these disorders.
We breed ethically. All potential owners of a Wolf Glacier puppy are thoroughly screened. All companion puppies required to be spayed or neutered. This helps to eliminate possible unwanted litters. Only puppies that will be involved in comformation or working programs are released on full regestration.
Wolf Glacier is also committed to the puppies we breed. If for any reason, at any time an Alaskan Malamute produced by Wolf Glacier cannot be kept by their owners we will take him/her back.
