We are Alaskan malamute fanciers currently located in Northern Utah. We strive to promote and maintain only AKC standard/registered Alaskan Malamutes. We have and will continue to maintain a limited number of malamutes so we can provide them with superior attention.
We began our journey with Alaskan malamutes in 1998 when I was introduced to my future sister-in-laws malamute, Little Tobesha. I was impressed with the size and temperment of the breed as well as the wolf-like appearance.
We became officially involved with Alaskan malamutes in 1999 when we obtained our first malamute. In 2005 we began showing our first female malamute, who completed her championship less than two years later.
Wolf Glacier is dedicated to promoting outstanding working dogs who can also excel in the conformation ring as well as be exceptional companions. We are delighted to continue lines which have a unique and distinct phenology. The Alaskan Malamute lines we have decided to concentrate on exhibit sound temperaments, soft, teddy bear expressions, large heads and beautiful form. We plan to add a rare line to hopefully increase bone size and structure.
Our future plans are: to obtain our foundation female from highly sought after lines, continue to actively show and work our dogs and then breed our first litter in the next 3 to 4 years.
